sorry i haven't written in a while. just touring which kind of shuts the brain down a bit. but the butch walker / american hi-fi tour is back in action and i actually forgot how much i love those guys. they're amazing. musicians and people.

meanwhile, i'm trying to spend my time more wisely now in the van instead of playing ps2 all the damn time. found a way to run pro tools and amazingly we demoed a song at 70mph the other day. pretty crazy. but i think it came out really cool. it's kind of mix between interpol, smashing pumpkins and the beach boys. i realize this sounds insane but it's not.

last night was a show at the bowery ballroom in nyc. great show. it was a lot easier to play this venue the second time as opposed to the first. the first time i was too scared to move. this time i was smart enough to break the ice with some wine. besides the exaggerated badgering of a heckler, i think i handled myself ok.
